Power 106.9 - Omaha's #1 For Hip Hop & Hits

Power DJs

DJ Bishop

DJ Bishop started mixing in 1989.  A Chicago native, Bishop picked up an ear for rhythm timing by learning BPM and starting his musical journey on tape decks and turntables.

In 1992, DJ Bishop found himself in Omaha, where he started performing at house parties, high schools, and other large Omaha events.  He then started doing radio shows on Friday nights and weekends.  Always spinning the HOTTEST jams, it’s easy to see how he took on the name of “Mr. Exclusive.”

You can catch DJ Bishop every weekday at noon with the Midday Mixtape, and every Friday night at 9 p.m. with the Weekend Rollout.

DJ KLC

Music has always played a special role in DJ KLC’s life.  A person could say it’s genetic, being that his father and uncle were both DJs.  As a military kid, music brought KLC comfort when moving around to new places.

Like so many before him, DJ KLC found himself mixing house parties before he quickly moved to the club scene in Omaha and Council Bluffs.  It was from there that DJ KLC made connections with radio.

“I love my role in radio because it allows me to be the best that I can be,” said KLC.

In DJ KLC’s free time, he loves spending time with his boys, friends and family, and playing PlayStation.

You can find DJ KLC starting at 9 p.m. each Saturday for Saturday Night Shakedown.

Tay Westberry, AKA Mr. West, wows any audience, large or small.

His vibrant personality, paired with his knowledge of music and sound, makes it easy to see why he is Omaha’s most sought after DJ, even being named “DJ Of The Year” for Omaha.
