Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist’s “Alfredo 2,” Larry June, 2 Chainz, and The Alchemist’s “Life Is Beautiful,” and Chance the Rapper, JID, and LL Cool J are potential nominees for best rap album.

Veterans like Wu-Tang & Mathematics, Chuck D, Ghostface Killah, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, Raekwon, and Ye could surprise with a nomination.

Other contemporary contenders include Lil Baby, Lil Tecca, Key Glock, Billy Woods, Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, Future, and Offset.
