Taco Bell is bringing back the Cheesy Street Chalupas due to high demand from customers.

The Cheesy Street Chalupas are available for $5.49 and feature proteins like slow-roasted chicken or grilled, marinated steak in a Quesalupa-inspired shell.

Fans expressed disappointment when Taco Bell removed the Chalupas from the menu last year, with one customer calling it a tragedy.

The Cheesy Street Chalupas are also part of the $9 Luxe Cravings Box, which includes two Chalupas, a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, chips with nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink.

Taco Bell is also introducing Mountain Dew Baja Midnight, a purple-hued drink blending passion fruit with the original Baja Blast’s tropical lime flavor.

The release of Mountain Dew Baja Midnight is a significant step for Taco Bell, which has heavily relied on the cult popularity of Baja Blast since its debut in 2004.

Taco Bell aims to enhance its beverage offerings to appeal to Gen Z and differentiate itself in the competitive beverage market.

The new drink is available in fountain and freeze versions, with prices ranging from $2.49 to $3.99.

Taco Bell Rewards members can get a free medium Baja Midnight with a $5 in-app purchase on August 15 to celebrate the launch.
