Monday (April 18) was a big day for Kendrick Lamar fans. The MC took to social media with the announcement of a new album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” which is set to drop on May 13.
Kendrick recently hit the stage at the Superbowl with a halftime performance starring Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg, other than that the rapper has laid pretty low.
A link to his website oklama.com was tweeted out where he revealed the new album news. Also on Monday, Lamar’s PgLang posted a press release that noted the coming of the new album.
On Instagram, Kendrick posts a file labeled, “Nu Thoughts” with a caption that read: “As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years.”
