The Pit Kit, which includes the deodorant and a can of the Pitmaster BBQ-Style Grilled Chicken & Fire Roasted Corn Soup, will be available for $15 on ProgressoPitKit.com starting on Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. ET.
María Carolina Comings, Vice President and Business Unit Director for Progresso at General Mills, stated that the deodorant is for those who want the credit of standing over an open flame without the hassle of the grill.
Progresso previously released Soup Drops, a hard-candy version of its Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup, aimed at providing comfort and convenience during cold and flu season.
The Pitmaster Deodorant is said to smell like a BBQ, with scents of smoke and charcoal, giving the wearer the aroma of having been on grill duty all day.
