Chipotle is bringing back Carne Asada to its menus starting September 4, described as the brand’s “most-searched menu item,” featuring fresh grilled steak marinated in a blend of cumin, coriander, garlic, and oregano, topped with fresh lime and cilantro.

Carne Asada was first introduced to Chipotle restaurants in 2019 and its 2025 return marks its fourth reappearance on the menu since its debut.

Chipotle is celebrating the return of Carne Asada just in time for football season by offering a buy-one, get-one entrée deal in U.S. restaurants on Monday, September 15 for guests wearing a college football jersey after 5 p.m. local time.

Chipotle is partnering with EA Sports College Football 26 video game to include the restaurant in the game’s “Road to Glory” mode, allowing players to sign a name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal to promote the return of Carne Asada.

Chipotle is offering a $0 delivery fee on all Carne Asada orders in the app, on Chipotle.com, or Chipotle.ca from September 8 to September 30 to top off the celebration of Carne Asada’s return.
