Ticketmaster will now display the full price of a ticket as soon as consumers begin shopping, in compliance with the Biden administration ban on “junk fees.”

Ticketmaster’s Chief Operating Officer Michael Wichser commended the FTC’s action, stating, “Ticketmaster has long advocated for all-in pricing to become the nationwide standard so fans can easily compare prices across all ticketing sites.”

Ticketmaster will provide real-time updates to customers on their place in line when buying tickets, as well as information on ticket price ranges, availability, and new event dates.

Ticketmaster plans to intensify its efforts against ticket bots, blocking an average of 200 million bot attempts daily and preventing them from acquiring tickets meant for genuine fans.

The U.S. Department of Justice has sued Ticketmaster and Live Nation for allegedly running an illegal monopoly that inflates ticket prices, with a case ongoing.

President Donald Trump has also taken steps to address ticket scalping and price transparency in the live events industry.
