Cardi B Wants Talk Of Her Being Stripper, Gang Ties Banned From Trial

Cardi B has requested a judge to prohibit any discussion of her past as an exotic dancer, alleged drug incidents, or her association with gangs during her upcoming court trial with security guard Emani Ellis.

Emani Ellis sued Cardi B over an alleged altercation at a medical office in Beverly Hills in 2018, claiming Cardi struck her, used profanities and racial slurs, and got her fired from her job.

Cardi B denied all allegations, stating any actions were in self-defense, and requested the court to exclude topics like altercations with third parties, criminal charges, drug incidents, and her past as an exotic dancer from the trial.

Cardi’s lawyer argued that discussing these topics during the trial could harm Cardi’s case and prejudice the jury against her.

The incident between Cardi and Emani allegedly involved a brief verbal altercation in a medical building hallway, where Emani filmed Cardi without her consent, leading to a heated exchange.
