Acting U.S. Attorney Matthew Podolsky revealed that Victim-1 of Combs’ indictment “is prepared to testify under her name,” with Ventura identified as Victim-1, the central target of the alleged criminal enterprise.
The government anonymously anticipates testimony from Victim 2, Victim 3, and Victim 4.
Prosecutors are requesting the court seal exhibits to protect their identities due to media coverage and potential harassment.
Ventura initially filed a lawsuit against Combs in November 2023, settling the next day, sparking over 60 related cases, including allegations of assault captured in a CNN video.
Combs faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, with additional charges added in a recent indictment, and is currently incarcerated in New York City awaiting trial starting on May 5.
