In a trailer for the album, Durk expressed his approval of the songs selected for the project, stating, “Even the list of songs you sent me is good so I know y’all putting better changes on that s–t. I know it gon’ be bigger and better.”
Durk was arrested on October 26 and accused of involvement in a 2022 shooting in Los Angeles targeting Quando Rondo, allegedly in retaliation for the murder of Durk’s childhood friend King Von in 2020.
Prosecutors claim that Durk put a monetary bounty on an individual named T.B. for his role in King Von’s murder and ordered T.B.’s murder, using OTF-related finances to carry it out.
Despite denying the allegations and pleading not guilty, Durk remains in jail without bond and is set to go to trial on October 14.
