Kanye West fans seem to be behind Big Sean’s album leak following a diss controversy.
The leak occurred after Big Sean dropped a freestyle that appeared to target a “Gemini” rapper, sparking speculation that it was aimed at Kanye.
Big Sean clarifies that Kanye West himself did not leak his new album.
He went on Instagram Live on Thursday (July 17) after a Ye fan released an unfinished version of his next album.
“Since he wanna disrespect Ye so much, here’s the album, f### him and his whole team,” the leaker wrote.
“Ye told me to leak it.”
Sean did not want to draw attention to the leak, but did not think West did it.
“Someone informed me Ye did it,” he said.
“I know you didn’t. I know he’s not. No way.”
Big Sean said he adores Kanye West and wondered where his career would be without him.
“You see this plaque right here? That’s 185 million records sold under G.O.O.D. Music. I love G.O.O.D. Music. N#### done made more money off my music than I did. I would never leak anybody’s s###,” he continued.
“So I know he ain’t do that. Whoever started that rumor, y’all on some b#######.”
