Ciara Finds Out She Is Related To Derek Jeter

It was revealed to the rest of the world on a new edition of “Finding Your Roots” that Ciara Jeter and Derek Jeter are cousins, although distant cousins.

In the season debut of the popular show, which took place on Tuesday, Ciara discovered that she and Jeter share a “long identical stretch of DNA on their 14th chromosome.”

She reacted to the news and said, “What in the world?  You are kidding me.  Derek Jeter!  That’s crazy.”

Russell Wilson added, “Always knew it! [laughing emoji] @Yankees Captain! @DerekJeter @Ciara”
