After being banned from several events for his homophobic remarks at the Rolling Loud festival last month in Miami, DaBaby is finding humor in his controversy, jokingly calling himself “canceled” in a new freestyle he dropped Tuesday.

Rapping over BIA‘s 2020 track “Whole Lotta Money,” which was recently remixed featuring Nicki Minaj, the four-time Grammy nominee pretends to cry in a video filled with shots of him performing and admiring his wad of cash.

“I’m somewhere cryin’ with tissues/ Certified, internet or not, I’ll get with you,” he raps.

The nearly two-minute video shows snippets of his show at this past Sunday’s Summer Jam in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which was his first music festival since his performance at Rolling Loud on July 25.

On the track, the “Suge” MC also boasts about how he “can afford to quit doin’ this right now.” He continues, “2019, I went bought a nine-acre estate/ 2020, made $22 million.”

On Saturday, DaBaby is scheduled to perform on Boosie Badazz‘s Boosie Bash at Southern University’s A.W. Mumford Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lil Baby, Bobby Shmurda, Jacquees and many more also are on the bill.
