Following Thursday night’s Three 6 Mafia/Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Verzuz battle that nearly turned violent, Swizz Beatz, who created Verzuz with Timbaland, is slamming artists who arrive to the show late and drunk.

“Coming on stage after getting paid 10 shows in 1 Verzuz just to get on stage drunk AF and late I’m just saying,” Swizz wrote on social media. “New rule if you don’t start on time you don’t get paid n time!!!! Verzuz is not free,” Swizz added.

The tension between the two groups began Thursday night at the Hollywood Palladium after Bizzy Bone performed “Buddah Lovaz” and accused Three 6 Mafia of disrespecting him.

“Ain’t finna to be mocking me while I’m on mutha f***in’ stage,” Bizzy said. “OK? Straight the f**k up.”

Later, the Bone Thugs member threw a water bottle that nearly ignited a fight. However, security intervened as the event was paused while order was restored. Eventually, Bizzy cooled down and said, “I wanna apologize to everybody the f**k out there, on both sides…Pardon me. Let’s keep the mutha f***in’ party going.”

The night ended in peace with the groups hugging on stage and performing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s 1996, RIAA double-Platinum track “The Crossroads,” which was dedicated to rappers who passed away, including Eazy-E, The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Nipsey Hussle and Young Dolph.
