Tuesday, September 14, night was the Verzuz between Fat Joe and Ja Rule.
Fat Joe brought out Nelly and, immediately, social media started to wonder about whether Ashanti was going to come out.
You may recall Nelly and Ashanti dated for over 10 years.
Ashanti came out and sang her hits that she has with both artists.
At the end everyone came out on stage and gave hugs.
While Fat Joe and Ja Rule performed “New York,” you saw Nelly head from one side of the stage directly over to Ashanti on the other side of the stage.
Social media comments, “Nelly really walked through these people’s concert to give Ashanti a hug.”
“Nelly walked up to Ashanti like ‘where’s my hug?'”
