Be a St. Jude Warrior for Warrior Dash 2012

May 14, 2012 -- 3:43pm

Warrior Dash is an extreme 5-6K running race with obstacles, including jumping over fire and crawling through mud with barbed wire hung overhead.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is teaming up with Warrior Dash to raise funds for the children of St. Jude that are fighting for their lives. St. Jude Warriors inspire hope in children who need it the most, the patients of St. Jude. St. Jude is one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other deadly childhood diseases. It costs $1.7 million a day to operate St. Jude, where families never pay for the care they receive.

You can help!  June 9 from 8am-6pm or June 10 from 9a-4p at Madcow Paintball 11212 Cedar Creek Rd Louisville, NE

Volunteer your time to help us with this awesome event! Help us fight the battle against cancer by volunteering for the St. Jude Warrior Tent. St. Jude is in need of people like you to help set up tables & tents, directing runners to their appropriate area and assisting in the catering section (no cooking required). Volunteer hours are from8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on June 9th  & 9:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. on June 10th. Not only will you be helping the kids of St. Jude but also gain access to live music and festival!

Due to Warrior Dash being an alcohol-friendly event, we ask that everyone volunteering please be over the age of 21. The festival tends to get muddy and dirty so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes like shorts and tennis shoes. We would greatly appreciate your help for this fun cause. Volunteers interested, please contact Daniela Carrasco. Feel free to contact us for more information.
